30-Minute Scarves

Whether you’re new to sewing or a seasoned stitcher, serging a scarf expands your wardrobe while giving you a sense of accomplishment. I’d like to share with you two of my favorite scarf styles made Serger Style. Each can be created in about 30 minutes. Let me show you how!

Anagha, To get 72 inches width of fabric, you would cut two 54 inch widths and stitch the two fabric strips together. Then cut to 72 inches. Thanks for your interest.

Hi Nancy,
Thank you for the serger scarf video. I am all enthusiastic to make this one on my serger. I was wondering how can one get 72 inches width when fabric comes in maximum of 54 inches width?

Several months ago you demonstrated making a circular scarf that was very pretty. It was put together in a very unusual way. It seems you turned and twisted the bias (?) edges as you sewed the edges together. I thought I saved it but cannot find it. Would you please repeat the directions.
