Beverly, I have the Brother Quattro version of the Ellisimo and love it. In my stash of stuff, I found something called a side cutter foot that I had never used. Check your built-in stitches. My machine has some called side cutter stitches. They are on page 2 of 2 on the utility stitch page. The stitch pictures have an S in the bottom right corner. Check your manual too. Worked pretty much like a serger stitch when I used it. Good luck.

This sounded so fascinating that I considered treason and leaving my beloved Janome machines behind – at least for long enough to find a local dealer and go see the Babylock Ellisimo Gold in action. But I emailed Babylock to find a local dealer and got the following response: “unfortunately we are not able to assist with the Ellisimo as these machines do not meet Australian electrical standards and are only suitable for USA usage.”
How fascinating – and sad too…

This was great! I have never used the camera in my Elisimo machine because I wasn’t sure how or what to do with it. Now I see the infinite ways it can be used to save time and insure accuracy. Thank you so much for this quick lesson. I’m really excited to get going. Kudos!

I am sure this is very instructive. My PC has crashed when I attempted to download. I am anxious to see your video and I will keep trying to get things fixed so I can watch. Thanks for doing such a great job Nancy-I do watch you on TV when possible and have learned and relearned so very much.
